Went to donate blood at expo with dear before service today! It’s my 4th time donating:)

It went quite smoothly for me, but dear felt faint after a while and had to atop halfway :p it’s ok, dear *pat pat*

Not bad, but I’m still wary about needles :p haha… One pack of blood can save 3 lives, according to the helpers. Give blood!

Whooo… I think flash mobs are really cool! Whoever thought that it could happen in a serious place like singapore….

The Raffles place one is quite cute :) Then they did another one at orchard…

Haha.. not bad, but think it’s harder to dance in formal working clothes :) So cool!

I want to study!! It’s a blessing to be able to study!!

I want to study for pharmacotherapy2! It’s so interesting!

But I can’t, cos I need to prepare for my FYP P1 presentation on Thurs. Oh well… And after P1, there’s dispensing practical, the mad rush for time while being careful not to kill any patients inadvertently. Once killed, zero marks.Type label wrongly also zero. Sigh. Haha.. The life of a final year pharmacy student.

I want to study my drugs!!!! RAH. Haha…

We had our first new PL subzone event at Southern Ridges today! And boy was it fun! Gosh, I think all of us were high, so it was pretty enjoyable, and healthy at the same time. ;)

Our team comprised of those participating from N309 (Pauline, Mui, Ting yee, Kim, Shawn, Rachel, CY and I) + Terence. Haha.. Terence was our ranger! CY took a shuai pic of him, must show anna :)

Hahaha.. We won the first station game (squeezing Terence, Shawn, CY, Kim, Rach and myself onto a shrinking piece of newspaper) at the starting point of the trail, even though we were the SCC (Senior Citizens Club)…cos our cell was like one of the oldest in the bunch of kids. Hahaha.. Looks like brains triumphed over youth this time round. :)

Then we walked and walked.

walking happily (koped from pauline)

I think we really had a fun time :) And I didn’t know that it led to Mount Faber. I’ve never been there before haha. Didn’t know that singapore could look this way.

And here’s a really cute pic, don’t you think? :)

I should go get the pics from dear to post. Haha.. Thank God for this lovely unusual day, and for my cell group + ex-cell members :) Heee..

Whoohoo.. my first youtube video. Couldn’t find a demo on youtube, so decided to do one since it’s not a straightforward song to play. Cy took it with his phone, cos I don’t know how to do it with my laptop haha. The volume’s rather soft so may need to max out the volume to hear.

Let The Whole World by Hillsong London

Last week’s sermon and cell group message touched on the types of people God wants to heal.  One of them is the unmarried people. It’s true that once you get attached, you’ll have one more thing to think about and what Paul says about this in the bible is true. However, that doesn’t mean that once you get attached, you can’t serve the kingdom of God as effectively as before.

If that were the case, then all our pastors would be unmarried. But I kinda think that the opposite is true. All of them ARE married. Hahaha… And the church can still run effectively.

Being in a relationship builds a different aspect of one’s character. You learn more things and skills. The bible says that if a man cannot manage his own household, how will he be able to manage the church? So in the New Testament, in order to be a leader in church, the man must first be able to lead his house.

It’s all about priorities. A person who’s attached but who has a heart for God’s kingdom will definitely do more for Him than one who is single but with no heart for God. Put God first in every aspect of your life, including your relationships, and things will fall into place.

Can a person say that he loves God, but dishonors God’s name with his actions? It’s one thing to come to church, serve actively in church, sing all the songs about how we exalt and bring honor to His name. It’s another thing to make decisions and live a life that is consistent with what we proclaim.

The one who truly loves God will be one who does his best to protect the integrity of His name, even if it means going against his own desires and will. Because to him, it’s “not my will but Yours be done”. In every action, every decision, think about what it will bring to God’s name, whether honor or dishonor.

Just a food for thought. But I’ll try my best not to judge ___  la ha… Hahaha. Cos I have my blind spots too.

Thank God for His presence today :)

Haha.. Pharmers did prayer walk today, and really, when 2 or 3 are gathered together in agreement, He is there in our midst. There were 4 of us. And boy, was there power… man, I felt like giving a benediction already hahaha! But I’m not a pastor :P Hahaha.. But yes, God will do a mighty work, if we’re willing to be used by Him :) He is a good God.

And it’s morning prayer week!

It’s really a good feeling to discipline myself to re-adjust my schedule, sleep earlier, wake up earlier to go and pray with God’s people. A good time to pray for passion once again. Even though I feel tired in the day, but I don’t feel down. There’s joy :) Because of God, and maybe also because of a special someone :) Every morning prayer week is a week of breakthrough. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16)

As a side note, today I was at the bus stop. I saw a woman and I think her son (who was quite old, around sec sch) sitting at the bus stop, and they were doing something on the chair. Then to my surprise/disgust, the guy threw a piece of card paper onto the floor. I thought maybe the wind blew it down, but then he threw another piece and didn’t pick them up. His “mother” didn’t pick it up either. Obvious blatant littering… Since now, God is teaching me not to be so quick to criticize and judge people, just when the thought of disgust at their behavior entered my mind, a voice in my head said, “Don’t be so quick to criticize. Why not you go do something about it?” Ok…so I walked over, bent down and picked up the stuff, threw them into the dustbin, and walked back to my spot. The “mother” and son looked at me in amazement. And I just avoided looking at them and continued listening to my ipod ;)

Don’t you think the camera shots are great? We should go to the next level! ;)

1 month :) And many more to come :)
