With every move of God, the devil will always try to attack the church, or at least members of the flock. If you’re untouched by the devil, it just means that you’re of no threat to him. If no one is criticizing you, it means you’re not doing anything great.
After a great asia conference, comes news of investigations into my church’s finances. Because apparently someone complained of misappropriation of funds. Well, all I can say is that… it’s expected.
And it doesn’t matter to me. My loyalty will always lie with the house of God. I believe that the pastors are people of integrity. And if someone really did something wrong with the money, or is found guilty, then let God deal with him.
The money I give, I give as unto the Lord. Whatever happens to the money after it leaves my hand, is not really my business anymore. So even if something wrong is really found, I’ll still keep giving. Because I trust that God is a just God.
So actually, it’s kinda exciting, maybe a little warped, to know that we’re still a threat to the devil. But out of all this, we will emerge stronger.
