Pre-reg has started and it’s been quite tiring cos I haven’t gotten used to working for the whole day. Too used to slacking during the holidays, or university life where there’s a lot of free time in-between stuff in the day.
Well, I’ve been mostly packing the medicine to familiarize myself with the stock and where they’re kept. And also with the computer system, and protocols.
I taught a patient how to use a salbutamol inhaler today! Hopefully he understood everything
Cos he’s a bit old. And I’ve got a prescription for my assignment on interventions.
Ok la, the workload is manageable. Cos clementi is not as busy as some other polyclinics. Still a rush when the stuff comes in all at once. Now there are 3 year 2s around doing their preceptorship, and another pharmacist who came over cos her outlet was undergoing renovations. Without them, things will be busier I think.
The staff are all quite friendly. Sigh, hope I can remember most of the things I’m taught
